Formed in 1988, Advitech has advanced beyond its initial small team of engineers and drafters and today provides an extensive range of consulting services.  Advitech employs professional engineers; drafters; project engineers and managers; environmental scientists, archaeologists and ecologists; and administrative support staff. Our people have broad skill sets and extensive experience allowing them to be flexible and responsive when addressing customers’ specific problems. We work side-by-side with our customers to ensure we understand their expectations and deliver a better experience and the right result.

Engineering

Advitech’s engineering team delivers targeted solutions for mechanical, structural, civil and process projects. We are well respected across the resources, energy, construction, entertainment/theatre, transport, manufacturing, and government sectors. Our multidisciplinary engineering consulting services include design, analysis, assessment, certification, drafting and 3D modelling. Advitech’s engineering team incorporates the coal processing industry experience formerly offered by Shaw Engineering, who brought more than 20 years experience in coal preparation and coal handling when they joined Advitech in 2011.

Our environment team, Advitech Environmental, enables clients to manage their impacts while balancing their business goals. We deliver value beyond compliance and our diverse team of scientists, ecologist, archaeologists and engineers offer services in all areas of the environment including planning and assessment; acoustics; air quality; biodiversity, flora and fauna ecology; culture and heritage; monitoring and reporting; and environmental engineering.

Advitech Environmental’s sustainability services ensure customers achieve eco-efficient and carbon-neutral processes.  Our team can assist with energy efficiency, ensure resource optimisation, and assess and offer strategies for your carbon management.

Advitech’s Project team has strong technical and engineering skills, and is experienced in the management of large and small projects through their life cycle. Risk and Functional Safety

Advitech is highly experienced in many aspects of risk management and functional safety. Our proven methodologies and rigorous approach can be applied to any risk context, in any industry, to achieve safety of people, operations, the environment and the community. We work within the framework of international standards for risk management, process risk and WHS regulations. Our customers benefit from our experience, which enables us to suggest relevant and effective controls to reduce risk levels to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP). Advitech specialises in risk assessment, dangerous goods and hazardous chemicals, hazardous area classification, computational fluid dynamics and specialist risk services. Our TÜV certified Functional Safety specialists are leaders in their field.
